Adam Phillips has played bass since he was nine; that's over 25 years. In the 80's he played in one of Hollywood's most controversial bands, The Insultors. Once black-balled from the strip for telling the "Godfather of the Strip" what he could do with his pay-to play idea, they eventually made it back to hold some of the highest-attended shows in Whisky-A-Go-Go history.

In the mid 90's, Adam switched gears to do a lot of studio work in Hollywood, CA, working for many rock, rap and jazz acts. After years of odds and ends gigs, he finally made it to Oregon, where he help[ed form Firkinah Souls, "a high energy jam funk kinda thing" that turned many industry heads.

Adam now fills the bottom end with so many acts his frequent flyer miles might bring him to your town soon. David D'Alessio is his main gig, an eclectic mix of acoustic/electric mayhem, check it out at daviddalessio.com.
